The housing here is substantial and aging, so renovation work is the backbone of what we deliver: roof and porch rebuilds, additions and full interior redos that keep a standard unit on site for weeks. Landscape crews maintaining the larger lots around the park order restrooms for their longer projects too, and a handwashing station goes out once a crew grows past a couple of workers.
Forest Hill Park itself, the old Rockefeller estate grounds, hosts reunions, walks and community events where flushing units and hand-washing handle the crowd. A milestone party at one of the grand homes sometimes calls for the restroom trailer with its finished interior.
Where a unit sits on an estate-sized lot
The deep, wooded lots in Forest Hills give room to tuck a unit out of sight, but the long driveways and mature trees mean we plan the approach so the truck can reach the drop and later the servicing. We keep units on firm ground off the lawn's soft edges, especially in spring when the ground is wet, and we mind the low branches on the older streets where a tall truck needs clearance. On the narrowest wooded drives we may back the truck in rather than risk rutting the turf.
